What's it all about?
Welcome!Thank you visiting the family website of Jennifer and Scott Jenkins. This site is a culmination of Jennifer’s quest to develop and track our family’s expatriate adventures throughout China and Asia. Our trek began in early 2007 and the education for the entire family has truly been a reward of a lifetime. While based in Shanghai, China, (our US home is in Charlotte, North Carolina) Jennifer started documenting our travels with a point-and-shoot digital camera that has spent almost as much time on the ground as it has in the hands of the photographer. After much coaxing she now owns a nice, semi-professional camera and in addition to taking web design classes she has become an accomplished photographer – all of this while raising our two wonderful children, Sophie and Sean, and keeping me in-line too. I am extremely proud of her determination and accomplishments.
Welcome to Our Family Website
We moved from suburbia North Carolina in the U.S. to one of the biggest cities in the world. Scott's company moved him out here for a three year commitment that has turned into an eight year commitment. We like living in Shanghai, the schools are excellent and we get to visit a lot of places we normally would not even dream of seeing. It has been an amazing journey for the entire family.
